Vorans2Israel

Dear Family & Friends,
Throughout the years Ben and I have been touched by your love for God and for us. Words cannot express or describe how grateful we are to the Lord for allowing your finger print upon our lives and thus our own children’s lives. Even as I am writing this letter there are countless memories of being in Children’s Church, VBS, Holy of Holies weekends, prayer times and more. So I am writing to tell you about a wonderful opportunity that we have coming up this November.

As you know, we have been living and raising our family here at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO (IHOP-KC) for the past 5 years. I personally have been living here for almost 7 years. For those of you that are unaware of what we do. IHOP-KC is a missions base which embraces 24/7 live worship and prayer, intimacy with God, preparing for the end times and doing acts of justices. Perpetual worship and intercession are at the heart of all that we do. And let me tell you, it is awesome!

During our time here we have indeed been blessed by the Lord with so many wonderful things. Like our 3 beautiful children (Elisha, Ezekiel and Blaise), our amazing community, Godly teaching, me leading the dance ministry and a mom’s group, Ben’s favor with a great job and so much more, the list is endless.

Recently, I was invited to bring a small group of dancers from IHOP-KC to serve in Israel this coming November. With fear and trembling I said yes. I haven’t been in the land in 10 years and I feel like a long lost love has been found. Through many tears of joy the Lord is rekindling my love for the land and awaking Ben’s. This opportunity is an 11 day missions trip in which we will be ministering through dance, worship, intercession and teaching in 3 different houses of prayer in Jerusalem. We’re excited to dance before the Lord in His land!

The house of prayer that we will be ministering at primarily, Mishkan Elohai, is an entirely Hebrew-speaking prayer room (no English). The singers and intercessors at this house of prayer worship and pray in Hebrew to minister to the indigenous Hebrew speakers of the land (Israelis). Their sole focus is to pray together night and day until all the promises of God for the nations, Israel and Jerusalem are fulfilled.

I find myself breathless that the Lord would ask Ben and I to minister there. We are burdened with a heart desire and daily prayer for all Israel to be saved and know their Messiah, Jesus! Yeshua! (Romans 10:1) We consider it a great honor to be able to go to the land of Israel and intercede, in person, for all the people to know Him as their Lord and Savior. Also to be a blessing for those who diligently serve day in and day out in the houses of prayer in Jerusalem.

Both Ben and I are praying for the Lord to provide the full funds for us to be able to minister together in Israel this November. It will cost roughly $2,500 for each of us ($5,000 total). Please keep us in your prayers for the Lord to provide all that we need to serve Him and His people Israel on this trip. We humbly invite you to prayerfully consider donating to our Israel Trip Support Fund. Any extra funds that we receive will be given to other dancers going on the Israel trip who need more funding. May God bless you one-hundred fold!

Isaiah 62:1 “ For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns.”

Day two

All is well here and we are scheduled to arrive home as planned. Blaise is stealing more and more of our hearts as we learn her little emotions, sleep schedule, and yes even her bowel movements :)

Baby Blaise Rain Voran

Please join in welcoming our newest addition. Our “Fiery (modern variant of blaise)” “abundant blessing from above (rain)” came into the world @ 7:30 pm weighing 6.5 pounds and measured 18 inches long. We couldn’t be happier and more thankful with this birth. Liz was amazing as usual despite some rather odd contraction patterns. After the epidural, the birth was virtually pain-free and only lasted 10 mins. Thanks for your prayers!

Making Music

One Saturday morning, Ben got out his guitar and the boys decided to join him. Enjoy the Voran Boys making music!!!
