After running my small business for 2 years, I have decided to scale back this operation and take a Art Director position with a Marketing firm in downtown KC. ER Marketing is the brain child of Elton and Renae (hence ER) who seem to be 2 great people with a lot of Marketing experience. Redwood Studios will continue to provide great services but only on a VERY limited basis! (like Very Limited) Thanks to all the people who have made Redwood a reality. We wouldn’t have made it this long without you!

So if you haven’t already heard, I have pretty much been banned from Mt Biking by numerous members of my family including my wife… I took a nasty spill on my bike christmas eve day but the worst part about it is that I don’t even remember falling or ridding for that matter… I must have hit so hard that my memory an hour before the ride was complete whipped out. I suffered from Short Term Memory loss for another 6 hours after my accident. I didn’t completely regain my memory capacities until a few days later but I don’t remember anything from that 6 hour time period. My earliest memory after the accident was thinking, “What the heck am I doing in an hospital bed??? gee, I sure feel like I have asked that question before… ”

For all those wondering, yes, I was wearing my helmet…

Favorite Color | Christmas Eve

So we had a big gang from TallyHO come up for the onething conference. One of the days everyone was here we decided to go sledding. It was a blast and here is the crowning achievement of our sledding schnanigans, the video of Rachel P. ramping Becky D.

We finally got our first snow. Elisha couldn’t wait to get his boots on and head outside. Daeo literally FREAKED out. He kept barking at the snow as it was falling. I can’t blame him, it was his first time to be in it as well. Elisha stayed outside for a good 30 minutes. I brought him back in kicking and screaming. He definitely takes after his dad. He loves to be outside. Zeke and I stayed in where it was nice and warm.

We went to the beach while we were in Florida. It was a cold day, but we enjoyed seeing the coast. You can take the Voran’s out of Fla, but you can’t take the Fla out of the Vorans!!!!

This year’s Christmas was full of all kinds of FUN! We drove 19 hours to FL with two kids and with our newest addition, Daeo. We first stopped off in Jacksonville to celebrate my cousin, Nicole, and my 30th birthdays by having facials. And ladies it was wonderful. (Thank you Aunt Terry and Mom!) We took the kids to have their pictures taken at a mall and oh what fun that was. We had Rebekah 2 1/2, Elisha 2, Kaden 1 1/2 and Zeke 10 months. Either we are crazy or plain bored. It was fun and we made lots of memories! Here is a memory we will never forget. In the mall we went to a pet store. That was a trip b/c Kaden (who not only walks, but can RUN!) took off out of the pet store into the mall all by himself. Mean while as we are franticly searching for Kaden in a pet store during the Christmas RUSH….LOTS OF PEOPLE! Elisha was all about the other dogs (he didn’t like the cute one we picked out to pet). He want to see all of the dogs. Nicole is running through the store trying to find Kaden, I have Zeke on my hip while trying to keep an eye on Elisha and our stuff. And in the corner is faithful Rebekah, she is attending to the puppy that we choose to pet. So you can imagine how our outing went.

Our last evening in Jacksonville was spent at Aunt Terry and Uncle Dave’s house, we had an New England boiled dinner, yum yum. It was a pajama party. Then off to Tallahassee with Naomi (who flew in the night before). We saw all of our family. It is always good to see everyone, only I only have pics of one family member, Grandpa Jim. After Ben’s accident, there were no more shots taken. So if anyone would like to email some pics of the kids with ANY family at Christmas I would love to post them.

Here are some pics from the Dinner I planed for our 3 year Anniversary! I blind folded Liz and took her to a spot off of the Blue River road where occasionally you can see a water fall… Once there I had a friend of ours, who happens to be a chef, serve us dinner. It went very well!

Twas time for our yearly farm trip… We had loads of fun and here are some pics… Zeke had a rough time with a pumpkin that scratched him in the face and eventually he fell asleep in the wheel barrel.
